I am privileged to serve on the elected Board of Directors of the Olivenhain Municipal Water District, Division 5. Division 5 covers most OMWD customers residing in the La Costa area of south Carlsbad. My mission is simple: to ensure safe, high-quality, and reliable water without wasteful spending or unnecessary
rate increases.
I represent your interests at monthly OMWD Board meetings, where I serve as the Board Treasurer. I also sit on three vital Board committees, including Finance, Safety, and Insurance. I attend local and regional water-related meetings, statewide water district-related conferences, leadership training symposiums, and water-related seminars.
ABOUT ME
I have lived in south Carlsbad since 1986 with my wife, a counselor at Palomar College. Here, we raised three wonderful children who attended local public schools. For 38 years, I actively practiced law in North County, defending individuals, businesses, and public agencies in civil claims and lawsuits. As a businessman, I co-founded and ran a successful law firm for over a decade.
I received my undergraduate degree in political science with a concentration in local government from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where I earned the Highest Honors. I graduated from law school at the University of San Diego.
