March 16, 2022- OMWD Water Conservation Programs

As a member of OMWD’s conservation committee, I was excited to see the completion of our demonstration conservation garden at the District office. You may visit it at 1966 Olivenhain Rd, Encinitas, CA 92024. The photo above shows the garden’s drought-tolerant plants, rain barrels to capture water from your gutters, and irrigation monitors to optimize your water use. OMWD provides rebates and credits to customers who switch from lawns to low water use landscapes and purchase water-efficient appliances. We also provide free water use evaluations.
