April 11, 2023-OMWD Completes Water Saving Project

I was privileged to attend the April 11 ribbon-cutting ceremony at MiraCosta College in Cardiff to celebrate the completion of OMWD’s latest recycled water pipeline project. The project delivers recycled water to residents, homeowners associations, schools, retirement communities, places of worship, and businesses along Manchester Avenue. The recycled water will be used for irrigation and will offset the demand for imported drinking water by more than 27 million gallons per year, reducing our reliance on water from the Colorado River and State Water Project.
