April 22, 2023- Elfin Forest Reserve Clean Up

Just Some of the Trash Picked Up Along the Creek

On April 22, 2023, Director Hahn, myself, and many other volunteers participated in the cleanup of the banks of Escondido Creek in OMWD’s Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve. This year’s heavy rains deposited almost anything imaginable along the Creek. We found shoes, toys, phones, plastic, etc., filling many large bags. Many thanks to the volunteers and OMWD Park Ranger staff for their hard work in organizing the event and keeping the Creek clean!
