May 4, 2024-Equine Incline at OMWDs Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve.
Today was a great hike on the Equine Incline at Olivenhain Municipal Water District's Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve. It is a 5-mile loop with a 1,300-foot elevation gain. There are great views of the Ocean and the Olivenhain Reservoir.

December 12, 2023-Conservation. Turning salty groundwater into fresh drinking water
As an Olivenhain Water District Director, I recently toured the South Coast and Sweetwater Water Districts to learn how they turn salty groundwater into fresh drinking water. OMWD is investigating if it's an environmentally sound and cost-effective way to add to our water portfolio. Stay tuned.
